The 4th Judicial District Attorney’s office offers a Pretrial Diversion Program. This program does not require you to go to court and usually keeps tickets from affecting your vehicle insurance. Pretrial diversion allows you to pay tickets online, through the mail, or in person.
Not all traffic tickets are payable out of court. Some traffic offenses require a mandatory court appearance. Examples of such offenses include Reckless Operation, Careless Operation, Failure to Stop for a School Bus, and any offense where an accident with injury occurred.
Save time by paying online! Fill out the form below to see if you're eligible for the program. You will hear from our office in 5 days or less, and you'll get a link to pay online if you are eligible for the pretrial diversion program.
If paying by mail, include a copy of your ticket and write the ticket number on your check or money order. If paying in person, please bring a copy of the ticket you are paying with you. Paying your ticket constitutes a guilty plea. Failure to pay your ticket will result in suspension of your driver’s license and an additional fee.
